    At first I thought it was a 300 Hammer (pic of 300 Hammer for comparision)

    But nope. It isn't.

    I think @Moonpie nailed it.... that was going to be my guess after seeing the diameter.... I used to shoot a 7mm TCU, then they started coming out with the 6 TCU and the 6.5 TCU.... etc.
    All off the .223 case. Great little cartridges.

    Shoulder looks to have too much taper to me. TCU runs a 40 degree shoulder like the ackley improved variations.

    Here is a 6mm TCU , 223ai, 223 and a 300bo for reference .
