In East Texas there is a metal fabricator in every major town. I bought mine at Metal Max Texarkana, as they beat the pants off the prices in Suffing Springs, and Mt. Pleasant. They can roll out just about any style you can think of. Not sure what part of the country you are in but check out your local or closest fabricator.

Make sure they were the same gauge.

Why would it leak? Yes it’s a thing, certain manufacturers actually recommend screws to be installed there rather than the ridge. Improper installation and failure of the rubber washers are the only way it will leak.
You didn’t see my follow on post did you?

    Standing Seam, for the win.

    Until it hails.

Usually standing seam is a thinner gauge of metal and doesn't hold up to abuse well. Most around here are installed on full sheathing instead of purlins to give it better support.

Standing seam is usually way more expensive than other metal roofs as well.

They do look good though and seldom leak.

You’ve got to snug up the screws every 5 years or so.
If they spin you have to use the next fatter screw.
    Frightening to walk on.
First time even though I was tied off I was scared shitless, kept sliding. The next time I hired a roofer and he had a hooked ladder over the peak and was still tied off.
    Never a leak.
Most manufacturers recommend to replace the screws every 10 years.

We never have and haven't had any issues.

I don’t need anyone to argue with, however, don’t chime in when you have no idea what you’re talking about. You are a customer that I add PITA fees on because you think you know how to do my job and clearly don’t.
Yes Karen, lol sorry your feels got hurt
