Many years ago I went to Western Auto, bought 2 AR-7 (Armalite version) for $49 each, no paperwork filled out, just cash. Also bought one extended mag for it, 20 or 25- still have it. Gave one rifle to a close friend and still have one. Has never failed me, works great, just a great little rifle. FYI only as not for sale. Everyone needs one just for the hell of it.

I was at cabelas in the gun library room. They had a used camo AR-7. Bone stock and they wanted $350. I asked why. The dude said “because it’s camo”. I told him they sell new for $230...he just shrugged his shoulders
