Post your conspiracy theories here before they come out and claim it was just a glitch...

Been out of cell service since about 7:30 this AM. Home internet (cellular / 5G) still works, but phones have zero connectivity. No calls, no texts, and no data unless using home wifi.

Outage has hit people across the country. First report I read this AM said AT&T was also affected, but AT&T claims they're not.

My tinfoil conspiracy - this was a DDOS attack, maybe a test run, maybe a precursor to something bigger. I don't think the truth will ever be allowed to come out.

My ATT Internet Air dropped a few times tonight requiring it to be rebooted. I wish they would get their Fiber connection here. As long as it had power, it worked.

I got service back on my phone around 3:45 yesterday afternoon - but my phone spent a solid 5 minutes lying to me saying I had connection but not really (showed 4 bars, 5G but couldn't send a text, call, or load YouTube)

    Fun stuff!

I'm surprised you don't have ATT fiber. In Providence Village, I thought we only had Optimum (was named something else at the time) and it was terrible plus they restricted upload speed. Realized we had ATT fiber and it's probably been down once in 3+ years.

Probably once the construction along 380 is completed, ATT will provide fiber but at this time is not available. Internet Air is much better than Optimum although it frequently has interruptions in service.
