The current issue of Small Arms Review has a very complimentary article on the Century Arms 9mm UZI clone carbine. This magazine tends to be somewhat reliable in its reviews. If the same piece were printed in Guns and Ammo or some other fishwrap I would be less impressed.
In the past I have had good luck converting Vector Arms clone carbines in to nice short barrel rifles after obtaining NFA stamped forms. They look and perform great!
Has anyone had any experience with the Century Arms (CAI) carbines? Experience tells me that the less CAI has to do with the actual construction the better. However these may have been builds done by someone more competent; a CAI subcontractor.
Now that FA UZI's are going for north of 7k my SBRs at 1k total including parts and stamps are very attractive.
