Seems the SC ruling about agency overreach is bearing fruit. :)

" This is a big win for the country's energy industry and the millions of jobs it supports against the attacks from the Biden administration to further its radical climate change agenda at the expense of our economy," West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said in a statement.

"This administration's Energy Department has no such authority to justify this ban – authority on matters like this lies with Congress and Congress alone," he added.

The court agreed with that argument, saying that states had demonstrated there was "evidence of harm" caused by the ban "specifically to Louisiana, Texas, and West Virginia in the loss of revenues, market share, and deprivation of a procedural right." "

At the end of the day these are mere baby steps. Nothing is stopping any bureaucrats from doing bureaucratic things. They will just play the game of who has more $$ for court challenges and which admin is going to ignore which bureaucratic thing. Until they start instituting penalties on the bureaucrats themselves they will act like they have always acted.

Wonder how far back Chevron Deference goes ?
Bump stocks was one, but that has already been thrown out.
Didn't the ATF approve the FRT, before the changed their mind ?
    What else ?
Well, what I was talking about in this post, was there any rules that the ATF pulled out of their ass, that were on the books long enough to be protected from being trashed, such as FRTs.
Seem just about no one understood that, and just replied about when Cevron came into the picture.

I am happy to see, the FRT bull s#it by the ATF just got trashed !!
Now, save up my nickels and dimes to pick one up.
Maybe they will now start showing up at Gun Shows.

ATF was told to stop their crap.
    FTRs are ruled Not Machineguns.
ATF can No Longer send out letters saying they are.
Anyone who they sent such letter to, they must send out letters saying they were wrong.
    No FRTs can be destroyed.
All FRTs they confiscated, or were turned in Must be returned within 30 days.

Now I have a reason to start casting .45 projectiles.
Have Linotype, just need a mold. (JHPs are for real shooting situations, cast is for practice)
Have led pot, have brass, have primers.
Lonestar allows full auto on private range rentals.
Time to Rock & Roll !! :machine:
