I am thoroughly surprised at the performance of the Tula .223 ammo I bought at Wal-Mart. It's more consistent and accurate that I though it would be. I took 100 rounds to the range today to see how my S&W M&P-15 would digest it, firing 50 rounds at two different target spots at 50 yards with nothing but a red dot scope. On each target spot, I got a ragged hole about the size of a silver dollar, with about a dozen stray shots around the ragged hole (more a factor of my aiming than the ammo I think).

$5 per box means cheap shootin', and that's always a good thing.

EDIT -- I just realized that I posted this in the wrong forum. Doh!
