    I agree with shortround:
"Obama is not at all what most conservatives believe him to be: He is not a liberal progressive.

He is a dyed-in-the-wool anti-colonialist with a socialist bent clothed in the cloak of the Democrat party.

He is not incompetent: He is deliberately trying to force all Americans to pay reparations to the third world. And he is getting his way."

Because he is forcing his 1700's colonialism on us, extreme islam is taking over north africa and the mid-east. There is a plan to his madness.
And growing up in places like India and Hawaii didn't help. These are 2 places that hated the white mans colonialism. Hell Hawaii been try secede for years
and return to a monarchy state. India went smart and applied USA's democracy to itself and they are thriving where the socialist countries are not.
And where the socialist countries are not is where socialism or extreme religions exist, look at sri lanka, somalia, lebanon, egypt is heading that way, lybia, venezuela to name a few.
His own party doesnt realize they are being played for stupid fools.
    We are in trouble.

I'm in no way FOR Obama. But you guys may want to take a read at this. I was starting to think that new Paul Ryan guy was finally going to be what we need. Looks like he's just about as full of shit.

    Paul Ryan

You know it's bad when it's a FOX opinion piece against thier own guy.

Please understand that FOX does try to provide balanced opinion and the article you linked is from one of their many socialist writers.
Look at some of these headlines for her articles:

    From http://www.foxnews.com/archive/author/sally-kohn/index.html:
Obama's right, Americans can't succeed without government
Chief Justice Roberts does the right thing on ObamaCare
5 reasons ObamaCare is already good for you
Yes, there is a Republican war on women voters

Ryan is far from perfect but her bash pieces on him are mostly BS.

    For example....

Fact: While Ryan tried to pin the downgrade of the United States’ credit rating on spending under President Obama, the credit rating was actually downgraded because Republicans threatened not to raise the debt ceiling

    Read more: Paul Ryan

Um. I think she forgot the issue is that we have all that debt in the first place? It's not really a "FACT". It's her narrow interpretation of the situation. Shes looking at an immediate symptom rather than the root cause.

That piece is nothing but a hit job.

Don't misunderstand, there's a ton of stuff Ryan has done that I dont agree with. Patriot act, TARP, NDAA and I can go on and on. But when compared to Obama and Romney.......

Ironically I am... But that's because, I got onto an international oil project not effected by his moratorium. Then I was able to buy a house because his crappy policies made the value of the house drop 60k in the last 5 years.
Then I was able to hop to a recession insulated sector of the retail market, for a while...

Bullshit, Fox News is just as biased as every other media outlet. I for one am a big fan of anyone whose Secret Service codename is "Bowhunter" and who has numerous pictures of himself hunting on the web!

Ryan is a conservative who is fiscally-savvy, Ron Paul supporters should recognize that he is the closest viable candidate to their beloved politician. I am not the biggest fan of Romney but his choice for VP is excellent and why I will be voting for that ticket (OK, there are many more reasons; but you get my point).

The 2012 election is critical to the future of this country more so than it has in the past. If we stand any chance, it is to get the masses out to the polls and ensure that we don't get a repeat of 2008! While a record, still less than two-thirds of the eligible voters actually voted (estimates on the turnout range from 61-63%). According to exit polls, over 95% of African Americans voted for Obama. That just goes to show you how one demographic voted based solely on the man's ethnicity and not his qualifications. Such logic applies to young voters, the 2008 presidential election saw a large youth turn out, up to 51%; which Obama appealed to their "need to feel special, in-the-know, empowered and special (sic)"

Interesting factoid, Wikipedia reports that in the last election, Obama spent $10.94/vote to get elected. McCain (not the best candidate in my opinion) only spent about half that ($5.78/vote).

    Cheers! M2

According to Gollup that number was 99%. Right now Gollup is showing the race tied at 47% each with a margin of +-3% and its been locked there for about 2 weeks now. Its time to find those that are undecieded and get them to on our side for this election.

Very true. Gary Johnson isn't going to win. I feel a lot better about voting Republican with Ryan on the ticket. I was on the fence and though a lot about voting for Johnson, but Paul Ryan definitely swayed me back to voting Republican.

And yeah, those that think FOX is objective need to pull their heads out. None of the major news outlets are.

While Ryan blamed President Obama for the shut down of a GM plant in Janesville, Wisconsin, the plant was actually closed under President George W. Bush

    Read more: Paul Ryan

How is it possible the plant was closed under Bush, then Obama went there to say he wanted to keep it open for 100 years? The truth is the plant closure was announced during Bush's reign, but closed under Obama after he jerked its workers off with more false hopes.

I know Fox is as biased as any other news agency-that's why I found it interesting that they did an editorial against one of thier own guys they supposedly support. He's still up high on my list though.

Ahhbumma has to be the least prepared president of my lifetime. I think his presidency can only be described as a disaster. Not the kind of hope and change I was hoping for.

Now just hold up there one second. I am sure that we all want to bash him for what he hasn't done that he promised he would do during the last election and at any point since. But he did come fulfill two promises. He did cause great Hope and great Change.

He created a LOT of hope that this will be his only term and he created a great feeling of the need to Change back everything that he did while in office. So I hate to say it folks but he did get two campaign promises fulfilled during his first term, lets just hope that he doesnt get a second to foul anything else up.

The drop in value of the house I can understand. But since the start of 2009, Treasury bonds, the S&P 500, the DJIA, NASDAQ and Russell 2K are all higher. What did you have in your IRA that lost 40% in the past 3 years?

    Good eye there Scorpio!

Just did what the democrats did at their convention.

    A little deception.

If it works for them, it works for me!

Actually, I'm down 8 percent from the same time last year.

In the end, it is down, not up.

Looks like we are still heading in the wrong direction.

I know it is probably considered “Tin Foil Hat” stuff here, but has anyone read the ENEMIES FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC trilogy by Mathew Bracken?

I know it seems pretty far ‘out there’ but I don’t see how anyone who has read them doesn’t see parallels in today's news and politics. Kinda’ scary.

Enemies Foreign and Domestic - About the Book

I've read this awesome trilogy and you are absolutely right.
Between it and Atlas Shrugged....almost everything the liberals, and Obama particularly, do has been predicted.

She's also got the order of events wrong. The credit rating was downgraded AFTER the debt limit was raised.
