For anyone who ever listened to KTSA on the weekends, this news will sadden you.

    Steve Gehrlein has passed away.

This man has helped me on many occasions when I have had issues with my vehicles over the last few years, and has even done work on my Mom's car. He will truly be missed in this household and by all who ever knew Him. My deepest condolences to his wife and his children.

    Absolutely shockingly sad news.

Long time listener since '98. He always spoke to his radio show callers as if they were a personal friend, and his political views were spot on. No finer advocate for veterans.

No better diagnostician of automotive technical problems that had to be made with only a phone-call.

Saint Mary's Graduate, SA Cop, Rail Road Man, Mechanic, and Small Business man beyond reproach.

He saved me thousands in repair costs: Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump, 44-K, tire pressure, spark plugs, wires, and much, much more.

Those car-fixin' boys on NPR have nothing on him.

    May he R.I.P.

Didn't know him and haven't met him, but the news is pretty major at work. From what I understand, he fell over dead of a heart attack right there in the shop. Sad way to go.
