Overall first impressions...Series 70 style action...

    Upon take down.......

Frame/slide fit is decent but not butter smooth and will need to be lapped...
Good barrel barrel lock up and the barrel bushing fit is good...
Trigger flipped the meter at 5.3 pounds.....will need some work....
Trigger bow will need adjustment along with the trigger slot honed...
Sear slot needs to be honed.......machine marks present...
    Front sight is pinned....
Rear sight has a set screw but didn't need it....Holy Hell.....you shouldn't need a 12 ton press to push out the rear sight...will definitely take a dovetail file to the slot.....puts Kimber slot tightness to shame....
Grip bushings have a gallon of thread lock on them.......
The hammer spring housing is all steel........not plastic like Colt........
Frame is steel same as slide.......
Beaver tail/grip safety fit is pretty darn good.....
will be replacing the ambi thumb safety with a standard safety...

The black finish seems pretty good, but will be removed for engraving and re-blued.......
