No beer, but do have a bottle of Sangria sitting in front of me
Sorry, no carb here. How are you fixed for gin?
Not in your bathtub!Welllll....I could probably brew some pretty quick!
I respect your attitude and perception that the commie dems are getting what they deserve.. agreed. What about all those who didn't vote for that shit?? Do they deserve it? Do you care about them? You really should as what has happened there is a cancer that will continue to spread. These bastards are becoming more embolden by the day.. why is that? Because they are not being held to account. Even Biden and kameltoe love BLM... I am with you brother.. my main concern is our beloved Texas.. which in time, may be one of only a few free states left. I am sure you noticed the leftist rat shit dems who are against open carry? They are already in our state.. creeping around like snakes trying to destroy this great state with every chance they get.... why do you think the socialist white-house wants so many un-educated immigrants in Texas? They will be brainwashed to vote democrat. They don't know what we know.. this is not their home and they have no concept of what an American patriot even is. Not a one of those people have a friend or family member who fucking DIED with honor for this country. It's a GIANT fu@#ing SCAM to tear this place apart.. Turn Texas BLUE??? over my dead body.Ain't none of them in Texas and I was damned glad of that before any of this shit started. I have spent anything from days to weeks in all of the cities cited above and will never miss a damned one of them. They all VOTED for this in one way or another either at the ballot box or by staying home on election day. You can add in NYC and all of New Jersey while you are naming the lost. Still don't care.
The OP brings up a serious point. And some nit picky "smarter than thou" folks have completely missed it.
Will we stand by and let this crap spread across Texas? Or we will exercise our constitutional rights, turn out in numbers and show our support for Texas (at least the Texas most of us grew up in)? Will we show these idiots we will not be intimidated? Will we call mayors, PD's, etc.? Engage in protests at City Hall?
Or will we just go to the keyboard and gripe when it happens and spreads.
Not in your bathtub!
The ones that didn't vote for that "shit" stayed home, a hell of a lot of them stay home on election day, check it out. Look at the percentage votes versus registered. Terrible. As to our unwashed new neighbors my state rep and senator have co-authored the voting integrity law that is about to pass that has dems Turner, Hidalgo and Jackson Lee screaming their little blue-tongued heads off. This will stop takeovers more certainly than a gun or any armed militia. They may need to think twice about turning Texas blue. In point of fact, it got a little redder in 2020.I respect your attitude and perception that the commie dems are getting what they deserve.. agreed. candcallen.. I respect your 10 year tenure on this forum and will reply with this: this thread is necessary now more than ever time to get all off the chest.. And my response to your invitation to STFU.. take your own advise.
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT AXXE.. DID YOU EVEN READ THE WHOLE THREAD? THIS IS WHAT i POSTED.. READ CAREFULLY.. THANKS. Duly noted.. I am not personally qualified to organize anything.. much less a militia! I want to know when the Texas state govt. is going to present a serious pro-active stance for protecting our state from terrorists.... perhaps open carry is a start in their view.. it's not enough, IMO. The longer we (law-abiding Texans) wait.. the further behind we fall. I would be honored to salute and follow Gov. Abbott in a quest to prepare this state for the eventuality of more of this rioting and burning bull shit. They just keep pushing.. and pushing.. We (LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS) are going to need lawful clear-cut permission to resist.. I don't know what that looks like exactly, that's why I am asking everyone interested to get moving.. towards some visible stirring of the electorate. I AM NOT ADVOCATING TAKING TO THE STREETS WITH FIREARMS TO CONFRONT AND ENGAGE. Please everyone understand this clearly. I have never been in trouble with law.. and I have never committed a felony either. I personally do-not even carry a weapon in public, only to the range and back home. Does the ATF monitor this forum?? Does the FBI?? DOES THE WHITE HOUSE MOUSE?? I don't know.. and I don't care.. I have broken no laws, and that's a fact. I don't live in fear. What I am is fed-up with the so-called authorities in this country refusing to stop these fucking woke cry-baby immature fools from burning everything we have built down to the groundTaking to the streets armed and looking for a confrontation isn't the answer. Taking the law into your own hands and delivering frontier justice isn't the answer.
Best way I can see is getting involved with your community, your neighbors and holding your local officials accountable for this behavior to be allowed to happen. And if that doesn't work, then maybe it's time to show your local elected officials that they can be replaced at the next election.
In most cities, the police chief is hired by the city council. If the police chief is part of the problem, take it up with the city council. They have council meetings, and they are open to the public. You can voice concerns at these meetings. If they are failing in their duties, vote them out.
But griping and complaining on public forum, or talking about forming a militia is just more nonsense.
You seem to be reading in assumptions that don't exist. I f you don't like the tone of this thread, you can leave. Sometimes some of you act as this forum is the most important sacred institution on earth... news flash.. it's just an anonymous chat site .. no better or worse than any other... I thought you were going to eat your popcorn and enjoy the show?Keep up with that attitude towards other members, I have doubts with you being here even a year.
Lots of good advice given. You might want to start taking some.
Apparently your reading comprehension is as limited as judgement in regards to publicly spewing off about forming a militia.candcallen.. Remember the guy in St. Louis, MO that stood outside his door with an AR when the marchers were raising hell and broke down the gate to their community. McCloskey. He is now free and clear as he broke no laws, but focused all eyes on the problem in that city. Fact is, he is working on a run for US Senator. I wouldn't vote for him but just the same, more power to him. I would prefer the ex-governor forced out by lies and false accusations from the St. Louis libs. But I am not moving out of Texas. If the threat comes to me, there are things I can do. If I organize a group to deal with it, then it becomes something totally different.
If I'm not mistaken, that case is still ongoing, so free and clear is not a good analogy.Remember the guy in St. Louis, MO that stood outside his door with an AR when the marchers were raising hell and broke down the gate to their community. Oh crap, I see what you mean. The prosecutor was kicked off and out for trying to use the case in fundraising but Harris-Biden DOJ sent in a special investigator in late February. He just happens to be a dem former US Attorney canned by Trump. More fireworks ahead. Former governor had promised pardon regardless but he is out too.If I'm not mistaken, that case is still ongoing, so free and clear is not a good analogy.
