Read more at Red State blog. Gov D explains what has become law in FL. Some very good procedures which Texas could adopt. Food for thought and to contact your state reps and Governor. To me the most significant improvement in voting is eliminating drop boxes and reduce absentee/mail-in voting (out of country on election day/severely disabled) and early voting to absolute minimum .

    Highlights:
[Florida has] banned ballot harvesting in the state of Florida and imposed stiff penalties — that should be done nationwide. Of course, we require photo ID in order to vote, we've banned the use of "Zucker Bucks," and we've been aggressive at policing the voter rolls so that we have accurate voter rolls.
