Thanks Dan! From an AR Rookie

Guess this is as good a spot as any to say "thanks" to Dan at the Gun Connection in Taylor.
He spent a good hour and a half fussing with both uppers on my AR, cleaning the extra pound of grease I had on the BCG's, using his store's material and then chasing me out, saying I didn't owe anything. Hell, just the knowledge he passed on was great.
He and his wife are great... definitely deserve our support.

No, I'm from Texas, but until February 2011 I paid lots of taxes to the state of California. Been trying to scrape that off my foot for a while now.
Gun Connection is on the eastbound side of 79 heading towards Taylor. Not quite directly across from the John-Deere dealer.
