TGT Range Day 2015 - What ya got?

Ben, I'd like to shoot some .223 reloads out of my AR over a chronograph.
If you bring it, it'll see "some" use. Don't bring it just for me though.

• JR Carbine with Slide-Fire
• 5.5-pound custom .340 Weatherby rifle. (For some reason, I keep putting off doing the load development for it. I wonder why?)

That's not a race. I can't think of any full-auto that's slower than a SlideFire on a heavy, pistol-caliber carbine. Now, if you want to do an accuracy test and see who can keep a thirty-round burst into the smallest group at 25 yards, I might be interested.

I don't have full auto, lol. Its this thing. It has a Gessiele SSA-E in it.

"Not very" is the answer if we're talking about long bursts. With short bursts, it's like an old sub-gun - minute-of-bad-guy is do-able. I just think it would be fun to quantify all that with some tests against full autos. Semis would obviously have a huge advantage, although if Jared wants to do some high-speed mag dumps against me doing 3 shot bursts, I think the results of that would be interesting, too.

Heck, I'm up for anything.

Note: all this assumes I can get that damn JRC functioning properly. I'm going to have to do some forum reading elsewhere for tuning tips and tricks.

Hicksville is like one big window shopping event, if you where ever interested in shooting a certain gun or try out other accessories, it's almost guaranteed to be there.
