Ben, I'd like to shoot some .223 reloads out of my AR over a chronograph.
If you bring it, it'll see "some" use. Don't bring it just for me though.

    For sure -

    • 147-grain 9mm ammo. :)
    • Lots of 115-grain 9mm aluminum Blazer. If anybody is short on 9mm, don't sweat it; just find me.
    • Glock 24 converted to 9mm
    • H&K P7 PSP
    • .35 Remington pistol
    • Ruger MKII
    Maybe -

    • Remington Nylon 66
    • CZ527 in 7.62x39
    • .38 Smith and Wesson snubby
    • 7.62x39 pistol
    • 1911-based bullseye .22
    • JR Carbine with Slide-Fire
    • 5.5-pound custom .340 Weatherby rifle. (For some reason, I keep putting off doing the load development for it. I wonder why?:))
    As always, I take requests.

Does anybody want me to bring a chronograph?
I want to race you with your slide fire. My finger vs. Your slide fire

That's not a race. I can't think of any full-auto that's slower than a SlideFire on a heavy, pistol-caliber carbine. Now, if you want to do an accuracy test and see who can keep a thirty-round burst into the smallest group at 25 yards, I might be interested. :)

I'd like to see that too. Curious how accurate that slide fire really is.

I don't have full auto, lol. Its this thing. It has a Gessiele SSA-E in it.

"Not very" is the answer if we're talking about long bursts. With short bursts, it's like an old sub-gun - minute-of-bad-guy is do-able. I just think it would be fun to quantify all that with some tests against full autos. Semis would obviously have a huge advantage, although if Jared wants to do some high-speed mag dumps against me doing 3 shot bursts, I think the results of that would be interesting, too.

    Heck, I'm up for anything.

Note: all this assumes I can get that damn JRC functioning properly. I'm going to have to do some forum reading elsewhere for tuning tips and tricks.

Damn. Those are my initials and I thought I was doing ok. James Francis, James Norman, James Robert (Jim Bob if you please), James Price . . .

I imagine I can scrounge up some 147gr 9mm. If I can get my lever gun back up and running in time I will bring it.

    • .35 Remington pistol
I am intrigued... Tell me more of this pistol of yours with that old auto loader round.

If someone has a scoped gun, I would like to put some rounds through it. I've never fired anything with a scope on it.

Let me know and I will bring some ammo.

I am sure you will only have a thousand to choose from :)

Hicksville is like one big window shopping event, if you where ever interested in shooting a certain gun or try out other accessories, it's almost guaranteed to be there.

Scoped guns of all makes, model, and caliber are usually on sight.
