This song was a big one for George Strait. It started a movement called "60 for 60", his 60th number one hit for his 60th birthday.

I'm surprised he never got a #1 with this song. One of his signature songs.

This song and his first Greatest Hits album were my introduction to George Strait from my brother as a Christmas Present back in the mid 1980's. Been a huge fan ever since.
