A great deal of truth here. This is the biggest cause of the problems.Texas Power Supply problems originate with federal rules providing renewable credits. Hard to build dispatchable thermal generators when then unreliable green power gets subsidized. EPA's interpretation of Emissions rules increases those challenges. Expensive and Unreliable power is a creation of green environmentalists.
I bought, sold, and moved power for years. Once more people's lights actually go out more, maybe we find the gumption to tell the greenies to exit stage left.A great deal of truth here. This is the biggest cause of the problems.
Well what good is he as governor if he can't even do something to make that happen? He hasn't done crap on it.And exactly how is Abbott supposed to force companies to build thermal plants in Texas? Especially when the taxpayer funded subsidies help wind/solar and render thermal plants financially unfeasible?
Here in N.E.San Antonio, we loose power just about every time we get rain.I bought, sold, and moved power for years. Once more people's lights actually go out more, maybe we find the gumption to tell the greenies to exit stage left.
Seems to be a lack of serious lack of understanding here.Well what good is he as governor if he can't even do something to make that happen? He hasn't done crap on it.
Well, I'm very sorry you are not capable of understanding it then.Seems to be a lack of serious lack of understanding here.
You and Beto need to leave Texas and get to CA as fast as you can.Have you decided to run for office so you make everything perfect?
How long have you been in Texas?
Abbott should use CA as a model. They never have power problems.Abbott should be working with energy providers and the legislature to come up with a plan to solve this problem long term. If no new power can be developed then the legislature should pass laws that restrict the construction of new buildings that will require additional energy to power, heat and cool.
Every day I see huge new commercial buildings and massive apartment complex that are under construction and those all will increase energy demand. There should be no permits issued for these things until the energy problem is solved.
Read very slowly.Well what good is he as governor if he can't even do something to make that happen? He hasn't done crap on it.
That won't even replace the amount that will be obsoleted by the time that plant is ready to go on-line.Read very slowly.
There is a 1.2 GW plant under construction. ERCOT is taking bids for 3.0 GW more. Please exit stage left.
Just in time. We're all gonna die.
Wrong brain-child.That won't even replace the amount that will be obsoleted by the time that plant is ready to go on-line.
Not sure if you know this or not, but from the way to talk, it's not. That won't even replace the amount that will be obsoleted by the time that plant is ready to go on-line.
