Hey Folks, I applied last week and did my fingerprints. When I log into the site it doesn't tell me anything about the status it just says unless I'm applying to become an instructor I should just log off. Any ideas when I can expect an update?

If you're getting that kind of results after doing ever thing you needed to do. That means, for what ever reason, the system has spit your records out and you will need to start all over again including paying a second application fee.

    IJK.... :green:

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the LTC progress. It just happens when it happens. You can call DPS/LTC and check on it and they're pretty responsive to the calls. It doesn't speed things up but it doesn't appear to slow them down either and at least you end up knowing they're working on it!

I received a letter from DPS last week to let me know that my LTC expires at the end of March. I figure if they sent it out 6 months early, there might be a reason for it, so I went ahead and applied for the renewal 6 months early too. Let's just see how long it takes.

Did you send a copy of your LTC course completion certificate? The LTC form 100?

Mine said the same thing. When I looked today, my status was there. I files my application on 9.21, finger printed on 10.9 and status showed up today, 10.14. Only thing I'm waiting on is my back ground check.

I know quoting yourself is a breach of forum etiquette, but I am using it for the time stamp. I applied for renewal of my LTC on October 13th, and I got the new one in the mail today. Just under 3 weeks from aplication to in my hand. That's pretty damn quick.

That's pretty close to my time frame in 2018. However, I walked thru the process in phases so everything required was uploaded a few weeks apart. Congrats......
