Texarkana area pistol instructors?

I have some family out towards Texarkana that's wanting to get better with a handgun. They have the safety stuff down, but definitely need some help on actually getting good hits on target. Does anybody know of any good instructors in that part of the state?

For professional instruction, they may want to give the Texarkana Gun Barn, aka: Alpha Pistol Trianing, LLC, a try. I have not taken any courses there but the owner, Steve, has been the one who has run my LEOSA quals for the past three years. Very much the level headed gentleman instructor who seems to know his stuff.

Thanks for suggestion Glenn. I passed it along to them and they're going to give Steve a call and see if they can't get set up for a course.

I have taken Steve's Defensive pistol 1, learned a lot. I plan on taking the next class when I get more vacation due to Defensive pistol 2 is a 2 day course.
