Got to get to the range with the oldest son today. I had a savage 110 rifle to sight in with a new Athlon Argos 6-24×50 BTR MIL scope. Love it. I was shooting handloads for one of my other rifles but I think this rifle likes them as well.
Sierra 65gr btsp and Hornady 69gr bthp with H335 powder.
My son brought his new Howa Oryx in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Vortex Viper 6-24×50 moa. That thing is no slouch either. He is just getting into long range and precision shooting but I was impressed. He is really liking the new rifle.
