CLOSED (Temple) 40 cal pcc or AR pistol

I have a lot of 40 cal and a single handgun to fire
them through. Looking for something fun to burn up a few thousand rounds or more. Anybody have something wasting in the closet?

At first I was going to suggest Quarter Circle 10, but I did not see anything in .40 cal. Next place was CMMG. I had one of their AR 15 pistols in 5.56 & it was great.

If you aren't that picky about the brand a used LEO trade-in Glock 22 can be found online for under $300.


Another option is to go to GT Distributors and get something used for a great price. I bought a lightly used Sig P226 and P229 in 40SW for $320-$330 each.

I have an xdm with a threaded barrel, but 4k rounds is a lot to shoot through it. Wanting a range toy pcc. Palmetto has an Armalite m15 pdw on sale. Probably getting that if nothing pops up.

Use a complete PCC lower that takes glock mags, and build the upper, or just build the whole thing.

buying the armalite. It comes with a Radian Raptor charging handle, a cmc trigger, and it'll be wearing a suppressor for the muzzle.

Just picked up the Armalite. 40. Nice little surprise. Didn't know it was a Texas gun.

Got to stop at the range and spend 5 minutes function testing. Only fired 45 rounds but all went bang and in the same direction. It seems to shoot well with tight groups while standing. It's no where near subsonic with either 180s or 165s, so I'll probably remove the suppressor and put the included brake back on. So far I'm happy, ar in 40, Texas made, shoots well, came with magpul mbus, magpul grip, Radion raptor charging handle, and a cmc 3.5 flat trigger.
