Just because it is a service bulletin, doesn't mean it is a recall that will be performed for free.

It's common change out tps and your good but make sure you check sensor on and around your front wheels they do rip off and may cause it too do that .. My 2005 corvette did the same and it was a ripped sensor when the dealer changed out the tires

Ya, it's drive-by-wire so the TPS is also the throttle plate actuator. Thankfully, they're a lot cheaper than the old cable-actuated throttle bodies. On this Chevy it should be about $100 for the whole thing.

Have you tried removing the ECM fuse(s) for 10 mins to reset the codes? Then you could have the new code read a little more clearly if the problem reoccurs
