Okay, some of you know that I have a feeder setup on my land. This will be my first year to take a deer (confidence - hope it helps :)

Anyways, just want to be 100% sure that what I think I'm reading is what the law is. I'm in Lee county. The book says "antlerless by MLD permit only " after the general season and the muzzleloader season, but does not say this after the archery season. The way I'm reading it, I can take Does during archery season.

    Can somebody confirm this?

My game cam has shown a TON of does, but not much in the buck category, so I'm thinking heavily of getting a crossbow real quick here and trying to get some practice in so I can take a doe or two during the archery season.

    Any thoughts on this?

Not sure if you found out anything on this but I think this is for management land/tags only. Your normal bag limits should not apply to private property.

    To be sure call GameWarden
