No, but I'd be curious what the definition of "long enough" is. I've heard of getting ticketed for not coming to a complete stop

This is exactly what I thought.

My youngest stepdaughter got a ticket today for not stopping long enough at a stop sign.

Is there a code in Texas as to how long one must be stopped at a stop sign? If not that would be contestable.

No idea, was hoping someone here might know.

There is NO code pertaining to the length of the stop - only that you must come to a complete stop. Period.

The cop wrote it up as a "California Stop"

I can also tell you as a person trained in interviewing and interrogation, that what she is saying is typical of someone trying to minimize the impact of an act. It's normal.

Both my ex wife and daughter have received red light camera tickets, both swore they stopped, just not " for long". The video showed the complete fail to stop...lol.
