They are not being forced to do a damn thing. Walmart is now a dues paying member of the nanny state Socialist. Being supported greatly by gun owners that can't be bothered to do anything else.. Hey Dan its what your nanny wants for you. I hope you do.
I'm as guilty as the rest. Never cared about Open Carry and its come back to bite my lazy butt. Left the door open and walmart slammed it in my face.

No 3007 sign on the door means no ban of OC unless someone specifically asks. At least that is how I believe the TX CHL rules go. Not sure I agree with OCT doing their thing, but it is funny how Walmart is playing both sides and OCT is exposing then for being hypocrites. If you don’t want OC post the signs and face the music of possible lost customers.

Incidentally, for purportedly banning all carry, the local Costco doesn't have any signs posted at all.

Yeah I haven’t seen signage at any of the several Costco’s I’ve been to thru-out DFW

The one in Frisco didn't last time I was there. Someone said the user agreement mentioned it but I never saw it in print.

Hey Dan its what your nanny wants for you.
Nanny carried a revolver with her everywhere she went; decades before the CHL even existed. What the hell are you talking about?

If you just CC, they can’t ask you to leave. If you OC and are asked to leave you are banned for life.

If you don’t care to shop there, then don’t. But don’t screw it up for the rest of us. One of the things I dislike about OCT tactics - they brand us all unfairly.

Inasmuch as I don't care for OCT, as long as they're not being total douchebags about it and simply OC while shopping I support what they're doing.

If they're acting like complete jackasses and loudly protesting the corporate decision in their stores, then I'm against it.

It all goes back to my post about "asking," if Walmart is simply requesting people don't OC then we have the right to do so. That is not effective notice under Texas law as far as I'm concerned, and if they seriously don't want people to OC there then they need to put up 30.07 signs or ask people to leave.

    Huh?

Management can tell anyone to leave at any time, for any reason, whether you’re carrying or not.

If the tellee doesn’t comply, then they can either be given a trespass warning by LEO or be trespassed.
Typo, I believe. He may've meant "won't instead of "can't" w reference to CC. Anyway concealed means concealed.

They quit gun supplies and joined Socialist anti Constitutional Gun haters with our money. Anybody that spends an effing penny on that low to bad quality cheap crap SUPPORTS AMERIKAN SOCIALISM . Shop till you drop, but don't gripe here because YOU ARE THE AUTHOR IF YOUR OWN DEMISE.

I do not speak for TGT, unintended error, Ill ban myself

Costco has no signs but will ask you out I believe. Haven't tried it.
Our old Costco (Eastern WA) had a sign like this.

    I did CC there routinely.
