My brother-in-law has a CZ-82 which shoots the 9x18. Most of ammo that you can find for it is steel. Are there any ranges in the DFW area that will let you shoot steel?

All of them usually what they don't want if bullets that attract a magnet meaning copper gilded steel bullets.

I'm guessing that it's steel projectile. It's 9x18 Makarov. I just know when we went to Shoot Smart they wouldn't let him shoot it.

Steel projectiles can damage the backstop on indoor ranges from what I've been told. I'm not sure of the reasons for outdoor ranges, but I'm sure they're valid.
