I tried really hard to make it through watching the State of the Union address last night. Honestly. I watched about 20 minutes of it and got tired of the nonstop standing ovations not allowing the man to speak so I went back to my XBOX which was endlessly more entertaining than watching half of Congress looking like they were in Catholic church with all the standing and sitting.

I watched a few minutes and decided that watching house of payne was more important than it.
I wonder if all that jumping up and down was good for Nancy,s varicose veins. What little I watched of it made my IQ drop a couple of points. I liked the supreme court justice making his statement.

Pelosi looked like a marionette. Her master would speak and at every pause she'd jump and applaud. What a bunch of idiots. What was interesting was to see the 6 Military Advisors sitting expressionless when O'mamie stated that he'd bring all the troops home by the end of his term in office. All I could think was, "You'll need them to quell the domestic uprising we'll have if this s#%^ continues. We are on a sad path.
I had to chuckle to myself a few times while watching Joe Biden in the background. He would move his hands and flash his famous grin as though he were about to applaud and then stop because no one else was doing it and he did a very bad job at playing it off.

You know that some of those guys had some sore legs the next morning. I could only get about 5 minutes, till I decided that studying Pathology was more interesting. My poor Xbox is sitting there, unused in quite some time. :_(

State of the Union? I thought it was just another sucky "reality-based" shows, like Wife Swap or something, so I changed channels. Personally, I would have voted the whole bunch of them off the d*** island.
The ones on TV are not the ones to fear. The scary ones are those sitting at home who drank the kool-aid. Turning things around now would be like trying to re-float the Titanic.

It was my birthday, so instead of opening the "gag gift," I went out and had a nice Italian meal with my wife.
Even if I stayed home, I just could not watch the "Pecedent" for more than a few minutes - if he isn't lying, he is spewing nonsense. The poor bastard doesn't have a clue as to what being President and leading a nation involves.

I didnt watch the speech but, my neighbor said he didnt speak about "the state of the union" more like a campaign speech. Perry could have done a better job.
There were two parts that really stuck out to me. The supreme court justice shaking his head "no" after Obama made comment on what he cosidered a win. It was obvious that particular justice disagreed. The other was when the Democrats stood, the GOP sat and the Joint Chiefs had to fight back the urge to rush the stage as he spoke on bringing the troops home, and allowing homosexuals in the military. I don't know his name, but the Army 4 star looked like he was a to blow a blood vessel.
My favorite part was when he told the SCOTUS that they were wrong and they all gave him this really stern look. Even his girl Sotomayor
Another good part was when he said something to the effect that small business is the number one producer in this country and he had to pause mid sentence because everyone started cheering... When he continued he said "but government..." and there was a slight dissatisfied murmur and the chirping of crickets.
...and yeah, it sounded much more like a campaign speech than a "state of the union" speech. I think he is completely out of touch, yet there are still plenty of people drinking his koolaid.
