Didn't Rueben James raise orphan Kenny Rogers when nobody in town would? All my ammo went down with the Rueben James.

Academy still had plenty of Federal XM33 .50 BMG on the shelf.
The market is telling us to buy bigger guns
How much are Raufoss rounds going for these days.Still buying .50 BMG at $3.00/rd.....primers, projectiles and powder still available too........
No he was a " just a no count share cropping colored man" in the song mentioned. The Reuben James was that rum running ship!

I could make a powder keg/old joke here, maybe alluding to Moonpie’s first voyage in the navy, but I will refrain.
The buyers here are smarter than the average shopper. Texas Gun Trader is the answer you seek. Bigger audience and less brains. My other dilemma is...list it here and offend some people or put on gbroker and deal with shipping. Although I'd list over 25% higher on gb and probably would get it.
You can always put your ammo up for sale on GunBroker for what you paid for it as a staring bid. You likely will get much more for it and no one can accuse you of scalping, at least not reasonably, since you offered it at the original price and bidders brought the price up.With the recent rise in value of all things gun related, I find myself wanting to cash in a few chips. This seems to be a hot topic and one that stirs up some anger for many. The question I propose...how much mark up is too much?
Looking at ammoseek I'm finding nothing under 65 CPR for steel and as high as 89 CPR. Anyhow, obviously none of us are buying at that price but if I'm asking say 45 CPR am I a piece of shit for doing so? Not long ago I let go of some brass 9mm for $20/box. It was profitable but as I see replacement costs rising I'm thinking about bumping up my price if I sell anymore.
As far as 5.56, I've seen some neck bearders looking to flip academy packs for double what they paid. I'm more in the cost plus 50% area but am I greedy or smart ? Anyhow I wouldn't be asking if I didn't have thick skin, so I welcome the comments including the "you're a piece is shit" responses.
Been there before. Was hard to part with most of that stuff, but like you I had no choice.I was laid off back in June. So while I don't want to sell anything, I am at the point where I don't have a choice. Do I keep my "stuff" and not eat and/or lose my house, or do I start selling what I have until I find a job. Unfortunately, I have to sell. The only bright side to that is when I moved to Texas I went a little overboard in the firearm department...well, if it's even possible to go overboard. I have one of my guitars listed too. It sucks, but the alternative sucks more.
That's a tough spot and it comes down to do what you gotta do. Most of us have been there to some extent.I was laid off back in June.
