    And stamps are 76 cents now.

    We paid between 2 and 4 cents for a basic first-class stamp all the way from 1870 through the early 1960s. Then the price curve started looking like the frequency of Joe Biden's memory failures.

    And stamps are 76 cents now.
    Technology and their price hikes are creating their own issue of lower volume and less revenue from 1st class postage. 20+ years ago, a book of stamps would last 4-6 weeks when all bills were mailed. I bought a sheet of forever stamps 3 years ago and haven't gone through 20 stamps in that time.
