In a conversion last week a fella mentioned he had heard of a brand new shotgun only range with trap skeet 5 stand etc in/around Austin.
It is supposed to be double nice.
    Anyone else heard of this?

    That the one-
Heard the name of it at the local gun shop in Round Rock- pistol rifle and skeet/trap
If they set up for sporting clays I will be living there-
Great they have a long rifle range- Lot closer than Waco

    Great to hear
That would be even closer to me as I can run down 130 faster than getting to Liberty Hill
Last year I was thinking about getting back into rifles but the dearth of outdoor ranges is a we thin here
So I turned back to skeet that i had struggled with for decades and find I enjoy much more than golf-
Least I do not have to look for anything when I miss one-haha

Went out to the new range-
Very nice- berms at 250-500-750-1000 with metal targets- I think they are LeRue's and they are a sponsor or something at the range-
Very nice gentleman owns the place and gave me a tour in the 4 wheeler. There is no clay course because the number of throwing machines
required 24 for one course. I forgot what they cost but I was thinking if I could get 24 clay shooters to put up whatever a machine cost, say $1500 or so
then they would get a life membership at the range. Just an idea for now. Will head out to shoot skeet Wednesday- They are closed Monday & Tuesday.
