Selling a classic Sig P229 German SA/DA alloy frame with rail pistol. Comes with extra complete stainless slide and SIG barrel (less recoil rod/spring). FAMS Federal Air Marshall trade-in when they went to P250, I was told by distributor ...so it went back to Sig for complete factory refurb, hence Red Box. G10 and stock E2 grips included. Tru-glo fiber/tritium front, but not very bright glow. Great shooter/ no issues, as to be expected for popular LEO sidearm.
So, you get 1 frame and 2 complete slides for fast caliber change. (Extra slide was designated to get optic cut) Same magazines work for both calibers, 2 included. X-rtra Magazines are inexpensive on GB/ 10 for $130. Includes box of 50 Sig HP.
DeSantis leather holster $25 additional.

SIG Sauer has been making the P229 pistol for 30+ years. In that time, the pistol has been adopted for undercover use by many law enforcement agencies, including the United States Secret Service and the Federal Air Marshall Service. The P229 has also become a staple in the civilian concealed-carry community. As it has evolved over time, SIG has offered many variations, but all in the same compact size—comfortably between the full-size P226, and the subcompact P224.
What is particularly compelling about the P229 is that it is capable of handling .22 LR (via a factory conversion unit), 9mm Parabellum, .357 SIG and .40 S&W. The latter two are even use the same recoil spring assembly and magazines, needing only a barrel change to accomplish the caliber switch. A recent add to the SIG-Sauer parts catalogue was a 9mm conversion barrel for the P229, without a change to the extractor necessary, just a new ejector and magazine.
