Should I grab this LWRC setup?

I have a spare LWRC complete lower, it's patriot brown or whatever. Was going to get a stamp to build my first SBR

Low and behold, LWRC is having a 15% father's day sale. Over $2k for the stock and upper after discount. Still would have to send it out to get cerakoted to match the lower.
I think my biggest gripe is I've been wanting a Savage in 338 for a few years now, purely for the hell of it. I've watched it jump from $1400 to $1800 the past year... getting this upper really just pushes that pipe dream further out lol

I like Gucci guns, but that price for an upper is beyond me...LWRC makes good stuff but that buys an entire Gucci rifle from many Gucci brands.

Problem is I already have a LWRC lower and it’d be close to a perfect rifle.

The SBR itself is roughly $2600 with a cerakoted finish. I’ll be into it about $2200 after I send my upper and handguard for ‘kote.

I guess not a horrible price... this is what it’ll end up looking like. About 20” collapsed and 25” extended

I actually forgot I posted here. Was just about to order it but I don’t feel like getting up to grab my wallet right now lol.

I emailed LWRC today to see if that gas system, with that buffer, will cycle with a suppressor. I don’t believe that particular gas block is adjustable.

Ok now that you you put it that way...LOL

For some reason my brain didn’t equate a $2200 rifle to a $2k lower and $200 upper.
I blame it on heat stroke when I replied.

I’ve shot many rifles to include an LWRC without an adjustable gas block suppressed.
