No, more like my tv has 3 cpu to process just the color black. Cheap tvs have a backlit grayness to them as where black gets very black on my set. Small details to some, huge to others if you can appreciate it.

Y’all ain’t got that in west Texas yet, huh? I know we didn’t nearly 30 years ago.

Damn. That last statement is both true and depressing. I was living in the ASU Men’s High Rise and we had 1 TV in the common area of each floor. Watched the whole Branch Davidian fiasco play out there my freshman year. On over-the-air TV, no less.

I personally like Samsung, make sure it has multiple hdmi ports. Samsung TVs will play multiple video types on a usb stick such as avi, mp3, mkv, etc.
