Ok, I know this is a boring question, but anyone know if MantisX released any new training stuff?

Can't find a single mention anywhere, but their website says the whole company is there for shot and NOT TO BUG THEM during the show.

    Sounds kinda H&Kish.
    I won't bother them.

    It does, doesn't it?

Still, H&K is a big organization that could answer the phones during trade shows. Their customer service just sucks all the time because they're dicks.

A small company that forthrightly tells the public "We're all away from our normal duties and nothing is going to happen for the next week" is at least being honest about the situation. That earns them a measure of respect from me.

Of course, I tend to look at things different than most folks, it seems. Before I retired I was on my way out of the office and found myself next to two women as one of them called my number to ask for help. My out-of-office voicemail greeting, as closely as I can remember, said "This is Ben. I'm on assignment in California for at least a week and I won't even be checking voicemail. You should call someone else because I can't help you with anything you need fixed in less than a couple of weeks. But go ahead and leave a message if it makes you feel better."

She hung up, looked at her friend, and said "What an asshole!"

And here I thought I'd get points for honesty...

You're giving me thoughts for my next voice message when I'm out of the office...

My Dad is out at SHOT, his first ever, and I asked him to check out the new TRPs and the H9 (trying to live vicariously through him). Hoped to get some firsthand money shots.

God love him but this is the extent of his communication with me (besides noting his elation to be there, for which I'm happy).

TRP from afar. DD from very far with literally no guns in the pic. Cool Dana Loesch action shot though.

Can't be mad at it. He's in his early 70's, still running his own small veteran-owned firearms business, and at least took some time away from the show and the sportsbook to send his son some snaps.
