How are your hands.I might be overly paranoid but I require the buyer either possess an LTC from which I get the details for the transaction or we do the transfer through a dealer with a 4473.
Yes, I know many people will not get an LTC in order to stay off another government list.
Yes, I know that part of the purpose for purchasing directly from an individual is to stay off still another government list.
Yes, I know that going through a dealer does not guarantee that the purchaser will not ship the firearm to Chicago, Mexico, or other illegal transaction. I also know that the government rarely - if ever - prosecutes people who are not legal that attempt to purchase firearms.
I never thought about any of this until I had agreed to sell a rifle and shotgun to a coworker before I found out that not only were they a convicted felon. Not just a felon, but one convicted for violent crimes. Plus they bragged about being offered a position with a radical group as a hitman. I backed out of the deal.

If he told you he is Russian, NO. It's a trap. If I were Russian or whatever and wanted to buy a firearm do you really think I would tell you up front?
