If you had read any of my posts, you would know that I have had an issue with this when liberal states and Biden ignore SCOTUS. And people on this forum generally howl about SCOTUS being ignored. But now that it is Texas, ignoring SCOTUS is suddenly okay.
Texas is NOT ignoring the Supreme Court. Educate yourself on their ruling. You make the same exact argument that Beto does.

    How does that feel?

Why would we need to when a few strands of wire work? Think of all the taxes extorted from you they are saving :)

Especially when you consider that the razor wire is coming from Texas taxpayers. One of the few times I'll say that I'm happy it is. Fuel for the armor is most likely fed dollars.

I'm OK keeping it "in house", but if we could spend fed money to do something they are telling us not to do, I'm OK with that too :)

Oh yeah! I'd have to say we could call it (using fed money to stop fed overreach) "addressing climate change, Texas style!"

    .

4.) The Feds bring in UN / NATO troops who would love to kill and abuse Americans to "teach us a lesson" - and things get real ugly.
Think about this: There are probably enough terrorists already here to disrupt the November elections by taking over the polling places on election day. This has already been thought thru and planned. Biden admin declares martial law "in the interest of stability", brings in the above and bingo, it's Wolverines 1 & 2 plus any number of other books and movies you care to name. I'm probably contributing to this potential mess just by bringing this up but I'm not the sharpest tool and smarter than I probably have more dubious ideas.

Yes, but lots doesn't and its a finger at the feds amd just may piss them or the other states into taking real action.

I like the finger to the feds idea. :)

A bigger finger would be if Texas withheld ALL money we taxpayers send to the feds, via TEXIT or other secession methods. TX pays in $116Billion more to the feds than it gets back in fed programs, grants, etc. That's why they'll never let us go; we're their cash cow - when they're not just printing it up outta thin air.. or borrowing it from foreign nations... and laying the debt of it on our backs...but I digress. :)

A free and independent Texas would be a great thing. A reformed and constitutional United States would be better, though more difficult to achieve...

All governments stray over time, hence why the Tree of Liberty, must be watered from time to time...

Thus far all the watering is being done by them for us, somebody needs to turn off the spigot.

    Give em Hell, AG Paxton.
    Him and other AGs :)

The last paragraph of the AGs' letter to FJB reads:

"What you should do is simple: enforce the law and protect the border. And despite some recent suggestions that you should nationalize control of the Texas National Guard as a ruse, we would like to remind you that you cannot do so without legal authority that you currently lack. If you cannot bring yourselves to enforce the law, get out of the way so Texas can."

Shouldn't the "transportation mission" be headed south and not north?
You got to stay in your lane.
Mexico has a border. We don't.
The governor of Texas has to use the laws of our state and country.

We don't count if we cross the Rio Grande. From either side.
