Anyone have any Savage 64s that you have reworked a trigger on? Just got a 64 BTV for next to nothing and I have great things in mind for it. No, this is not an accutrigger gun before someone says it.

I have a much older version, a Sears branded Cooey 64b, which is almost the same gun but lacks the thumb safety. I've pulled the gun apart and looked at the mechanism before but there's not a ton that can be done to it. If it's like mine, the trigger is quite heavy. You could polish up the flat edge of the sear that the striker interfaces with but I don't know what else you could do outside of that.
