New to the forums, has anyone posted information and reviews about the Reloading Supply Shops around town?.. Also, seems like there are not a lot of threads in the forum. Is it because the site deletes inactive threads? Thanks!

    TRAINER HALE SUPPLY
Had a nice selection of gun powder.
Primer selection was limited. (DUE TO SHORTAGES)
Bullet selection was limited in addition. (DUE TO SHORTAGES)
Knowledge of reloading seem to be limited due to teenagers working in the shop.
    Prices were competitive.
    Very nice people.
4 out of 5 stars for me.

    NAGELS GUN SHOP
Has a decent selection of gun powder, bullets, primers.
    Reloading knowledge was limited.
Seems like this shop has higher prices.
Customer service is not very good.
    Very Disorganized shop.
2 out of 5 stars for me. Will not go to this shop unless all other options are exhausted.

If you found Nagles to be limited in reloading knowledge, you didn't ask. Sorry - but I've gone in there with a question, and they'll bring 2-3 guys in that KNOW reloading like the back of their hands.

Hoguns is good - but don't go in there like you're quizzin' 'em, 'cuz they'll toss you out on yer keister so fast you'll think you got hit by a buzzsaw. They know their stuff - but they will not put up with 'tudes, so be cool.

It has been almost a year since I found anyone with a selection of primers at a reasonable price.

The first place I usually try for reloading stuff is Don's on 410 west of Fredericksburg Rd. It is a small place, but they have a good selection of powder and bullets. To get there you have to take the Babcock exit and head east on the frontage road.

The last time I was in Powderhorn they had a good selection of powder and bullets.

I occasionally go to Nagle's to look at the junk table. Their prices are the highest in town.

I will have to check out Hoguns - I haven't heard of it before.
