    Saiga Barrel Threading
    Got two Saiga’s from separate parts of the country and they look like the same guy worked on them. I think they visit the same forums.
    The owner attempted to remove the sleeve from the front site block.

    Pulled the barrels

    Remove the site blocks, took measurements for the customers flash hiders.

    Using a barrel stub I affix the site block to it

    We take it to the band saw to cut to length.

    Now to the lathe to square up and face the site block

    I always cut the threads on a AK between centers.
