I have been looking for a way to put a pistol grip on my 1100. I have found very little hard information and a lot of fishin' stories. What I am looking for is something in kit form (not a complete shotgun) that I can add to my 1100 project. Some years ago, Sage Industries came out with their Sidewinder (sorry no pics, I can't find one), not being part of the TBL, I can't get one from them, they only sold/sell to departments.

The ideas I am looking for are...

Any ideas where a civilian can get one?
Anyone have one who is willing to take detailed pictures of it so I can attempt to make one?
Are the any other ways to do the same thing? - move the recoil spring from the buttstock to around the mag tube

Any tinker-ers out there with something similar in super secret development?
