WTS/WTT S&W 29-2 in Austin

I have up for sale a pristine 29-2 44 magnum with a 4 inch barrel and a nice presentation box. Faint turn mark on the cylinder. Looking for $1500 or trade for something I might use. This is way too nice to be bashed around by me. I like 10mm’s, 1911’s and odd caliber things.

But how many rounds were fired? Any interest in hunting rifles (Weatherby), Ruger Precision Rifle, and Remington CUSTOM SHOP 7rem mag?

Not very many from the appearance. However I am not the original owner. It was part of a package deal with something I really, really wanted.

Thanks! Do you have any idea what year? Is there any marking or engraving on the wood box? Would you mind sharing the serial # so I could find when it was made?

SN starts with an N143. The box is unadorned but looks well made.
