I sold my dirt bikes a long time ago because I wanted to stay alive.
I bought sport bikes because I needed to live.
I sold the sport bikes because I wanted to stay alive and die of old age..
Damn I did that STUPID kind of SH-T on my Suzuki GSXR 750 back when i was in my early 20's!! I look back at it now and just say, WOW "What a DUMBA$$ I was"
I don't see the fun in doing that ... I'd rather run full out on the highway with no traffic or on a road course personally. I can't fault someone for going out to have fun, but that whole video was just frustrating.
This also is the reason why I will never own a motorcycle. I would last a week at most.
I stopped riding on the street b/c it just isnt any fun (I dont consider what he was doing as fun). I'm not a Doctor, EMT or Police officer. Nothing in my day to day life requires that I be at any specific place in such a hurry that I need to risk my life or the life of anybody around me. So I drive my POS pickemuptruck and listen to podcasts while watching the other idiots driving around me. For fun I throw my bike on the trailer and haul it to one of the local tracks to get my speed on. Course now the other bit of fun (not quite as exciting) is to grab the EBR and go to the range to kill paper.
Anyway - too frickin easy for one of those unexcepted events to occur when you're that far out on the edge. Say an inattentive driver starts to close the gap with a bus and a DOT truck accidently left behind a nice stream of sand. Grab some brake while changing direction and the bike pushes the front end and starts to walk the back. bye bye.
This makes me wonder what kind of punishment you get for being late to work in Russia?
I like the part where he passes the other bike and give's him the screem of the pipes..
Wow. That guy was good, but probably not too long for this world riding like that. Prison or Nursing Home. Lots of time on the center line or LOC. That's why I take my bikes to the track and rarely ride on the street any more...
