So does it seem more accurate than a 10/22 sporter barrel?

Mine appear to be... and the much, much better out of the box trigger pull helps a good bit. No feeding issues in LR or Magnum and while I didn't try a BX25 in the LR, I'm sure it would work just fine.

I'm not one to ask about accuracy, since I'm a hack

I agree the trigger is very nicethough!

Mine worked fine w the bx25

I picked up one in 22 Mag last week.
The gun is pretty nice quality for $299

hammer forged, free floating barrel, very nice
I took the trigger down all of the way and it feels really decent.
They put factory sling studs on it...its about time Ruger did this, now, Ruger.. do it on the 10/22 also

also, the receiver is tapped for Weaver #12 bases, damn they are hard to find in stores.
I took the set off of my Marlin along with my Nikon Rimfire glass and put it on the new Ruger

It's a darned nice rifle and I hope to take many varmints with it.

    Helotes!
I picked up one of these on Saturday, used but in pristine condition. I've heard nothing but great things about these rifles, and I wanted a bolt-action .22LR so this fit the bill quite nicely!

I can't wait to shoot it. Probably this weekend!

    Cheers! M2
