Ruger's new 10/22 drop in trigger

Looks like Ruger is trying to compete with Kidd, Etc. Just got this in an email. At $90 MSRP I will be buying one for my takedown.

Looks and sounds like a deal. I changed out my hammer and trigger with vq parts and it's awesome now.

Good for them, the most common thing people change out are the triggers, so why not get a bit of that $

I will get one just to compare to the KIDD. KIDD is pretty sweet. I have a hard time wanting to even shoot the ones without KIDD. IMO

I think sending the trigger group that already came with your rifle to Brimstone for their $35 "Tier 3" trigger job would be the better deal than to buy another trigger group for $75-80 (possible street price).

If someone in the Houston area gets one of these I'd be happy to put my Brimstone "Tier 2" trigger group ($70) up for a side-by-side comparison.

I used Swampfox triggers, very nice work, $75 including a billet trigger, quick turnaround too

So many factory guns have awful triggers.

I used to trash talk on people who insisted on good triggers, I just figured they couldn't shoot, but there are just some unacceptably gross triggers out there. I'm looking at you S&W with your M&Ps!

Doubt this will compete with the kidd trigger. It's really the trigger these guns should come with form the factory.
