Man, I might have to get one. My Remington 597 ain't worth a shit as far as accuracy. It would be fun to have a cheap 10/22 that I can customize.

Debating getting stamps for the Remington and making it a badass truck gun

Is there any word about full compatibility? That would be somethin' if they accepted all ruger components/parts. Also, 22 ammo is popping up again. Maybe a bit on the high side but it's out there.

Where do you see it for $159.95? Their flyer says retail is $315.

The SOG flyer I have in front of me, I received today, on the back page......

MSRP may be $315.00, but why would anyone buy at that price?

    edit: FFL Dealer price.....

It looks like it has better sights than a Ruger. I think Rock Island is in the Philippines. I would probably buy one for $160, just out of curiosity. It probably will take Ruger mags.

If that is the dealer price ($160) then they will probably be about the same price as a 10/22. I would rather get a real 10/22 for even $40 more.

Isn't that same model 10/22 about $200 at Walmart? I may be remembering wrong though.

I poked around a bit. It looks like they are made by Armscor in the Phillipines and branded/imported by Rock island. According to one write up I saw, they claimed "full compatibility" with all ruger parts/accy's with just a different sight design on their stock model.
