Do you really think he'll turn on his voting base and enact stricter gun laws or policies now?

Who benefits publishing articles dredging these types of things up and discouraging conservative base voters?

If you don't like Romeny as a candidate due to his former stance on 2nd amendment issues who exactly is the candidate you are supporting?

The question here is easy. Who do you think can be trusted more with your 2A rights; Mitt Romney or Barack H. Obama?

All of the nit-picking and arm chair interpretation does nothing to answer that question.

Seems you are disseminating propaganda for a cause.

For one this topic has been hashed out ad nauseam previous threads and is quite mute now we are pasted the GOP primaries unless you'd like to point out another candidate who is more favourable to RKBA who has a chance to win.

If you make a list of things you like about each candidate and the things you don't like about each candidate you'll figure out who to vote for.....or in London's case, against.

I'm not for government supported abortion, same-sex marriage or stricter gun control. I pretty much know how I should vote.

Jeez. How silly of me to think gun owners would want to read an NRA interview with the potential President, as well as its critique. Stupid, stupid, stupid! (Punches self in the head repeatedly.)

If you're bored of the subject, it's not like anyone's forcing you to read about it.

Link wasn't to the interview, it was to the cometary of the interview that was the same old stuff. The title of this thread also didn't write it's self.

he can flip flop all he wants. As long as that commie POS obama is out. Mitt the twitt can be a total douche and still be 98% better then the foreign born, democrat, minority poster boy, bullshit lie, obama.

The Mitt turd sandwich comes with chips and a diet coke. the present obama turd sandwich isn't even cooked right and has no chips or diet coke. Plus it's wrapped in a socialist sandwich bag.

Ill take the chips to cover the taste. And the coke to wash it all down. With obama...it just lingers in your mouth.

I agree Mitt Romney sucks but he's got to be better than Obama. Hell if Larry the Cable guy ran for president I vote for him over Obama. Then again having a regular guy be president might be bad news for all the goons.

    Every politician "evolves".

Obama went from being against homo-marriage, to a proponent of boy-boy & girl-girl marriage: He evolved in the wrong direction.

Romney, having been for gun control as Governor of MA joined the NRA and saw the light: He evolved in the correct (RIGHT) direction.

In my youth, a Texas Democrat was more conservative than the most radical New England/East Coast Republican.

These days, Texas Democrats have defected to the far-off-the-cliff Marxist-socialist left.

Blue Dogs are a dying breed, and the hard left will kill them off, as more "sick, lame, and lazy" get on the gravy train.

Don't believe the mainstream media polls: Most people don't like Obama, but don't want to say so. They are afraid of being called "racist."

    Every votes counts.

Romney is not perfect, but he will get my vote.

I don't believe he sincerely holds those beliefs. I also don't agree with your assessment of gay marriage, but that is for another thread.

The "cause" is to make everyone aware so that we'll know to keep a really close eye on this guy. Obviously there is no third party candidate who can win, but just because you vote for Romney doesn't mean he's going to keep all your best interests in mind. We can't just sigh in relief and relax because an (R) is in the White House. We're going to have to constantly remind him who put him in office. I fear it's not going to be easy.

If they couldn't pass any gun control measures in a perfect storm I don't think the house, senate and a R POTUS would stand for it. Not saying we're free and clear. Ronald Reagan and Bush 1 and 2 did enough damage as R presidents to the 2nd amendment but things have been different now a days.

I wouldn't exactly call it a perfect storm. Obummer was still thinking about a second term which I believe tied his hands quite a bit. Too bad for him the next go 'round won't be a perfect storm, either.

    London,

I would be happy to debate this topic on another thread!

Obama rolled over in support of gay marriage because his Vice President jumped the pooch on the topic.

Obama presided over repeal of DADT and came out on record for homo marriage.

Bottom line is that Romney or Obama will be president.....I see Romney and a republican House as less dangerous to the 2A.

    Yep.

But the repubs need to get the Senate also. Otherwise the Senate will block or never call for a vote on anything the House passes.

Defund all those Czars and their commissions!
