Good luck, mine is a pile of crap! FTE is the biggest problem! Haven't had any FTF. It must require some special sauce too operate!

The open carry of rifles and shotguns is perfectly legal in Texas. There are no laws that regulate the keeping or bearing of these arms. Section 42.01(a)(8) does mention that such weapons cannot be carried in a “manner calculated to cause alarm.” So, a person has to consciously be aware that his/her conduct is “calculated” to cause alarm.
But did you get arrested???This is a follow-up to a previously locked thread:
Posing with a rifle at state border
I wonder how this thread would have gone if the OP was a woman who wanted to pose at the border wearing nothing but her rifle and a smile...... Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalktexasguntalk.com
As it is a locked thread, I will not engage the long discussion that caused the thread to be locked. Instead, I am posting for the sake of some people who kindly asked to see my pic posing at the border, as well as provide some legal information for people's reference.
As this is a thread about rifle pictures, I do not think it violates the letter or spirit of the thread.
See attached pic: it's a Kel-tec Sub2000, which I purchased in my previous time living in Texas, in 2010.
I also did some research before doing this:

I reasoned that since I was posing in front of the sign, with the rifle not pointed at the road or to incoming traffic, it would be interpreted as "posing for a picture" and hence not calculated to cause alarm.
You look like a real blockhead. It's probably the socks and sandles. This is a follow-up to a previously locked thread:

It's not so much in need of warranty repair as maybe a better or different lube? I haven't had much time for range work or problem solving. I might need too check the owners manual for more insite?Have you contacted FN to see if they’ll warranty repair?
FYI, your socks and sandals BS needs to end at the state line. This is a follow-up to a previously locked thread:

A tight patch, a properly marked cleaning rod, and something to hold the rifle on your workbench should be able to make that determination within an inch, plus or minus.or the life of me can't find what twist rate it has.
