Red Dead Redemption

I bought the game tonight for PS3 and it's pretty damn fun. You get to shoot all kinds of critters and go out being a law dog or whatever it is you want to do. Need to play it some more to get more in depth.

One thing I will say is the game is pretty dynamic and pretty rough. You get a feel for the West being truly wild. One minute it's a slow town, the next it's getting shot up by bandits as they ride through, one minute someone is grieving the next they turn a gun on themselves, people will play tricks on you and try to steal your horse, all kinds of crazy stuff. It's really fun.

Had the game since the 18th on the xbox and beat the main story last night, I love everything about this game, from hunting to the random bandit attacks.

Playing it online is pretty fun when you are not by yourself and have a good posse, if not online free roam is just ruined by the random people that kill you over and over when you are trying to do hideouts or ride to another town.

so is it an open ended RPG like morrowind, or fallout or more shooterish linear rpg like Deus Ex?

It is like a GTA game but set around 1900 in the south texas/mexico region.

It has the Main story missions and then it also has the small little side quests which help you unlock new stuff.

Yea, just like all other rockstar games it will be ported to PC after the initial wave of console people get it.

My friend says this game is awesome. Achievements unlocked for throwing ropes around women and laying them on the tracks...LOL

i got it the 18th as well, iTS AWESOME!!! its fo sho my new favorite game. towards the end of the game you get a Winchester1897, ITS SICK! has anyone accomplished 100% completion and got the FBI uniform yet?

I have, only have multiplayer stuff to do now, FBI uniform is not the best in my opinion
