Propane question re dual fuel gens

FWIW, I have a 24KW whole home Generac which can burn Propane or LPG. I have a 500 lb propane tank buried in the back yard. When the generator was installed, they left the switch in LPG mode (as shown) and my generator ran like crap, shook, and overheated. We figured the generator needed to break in, but no, it was selector switched wrong. I did some troubleshooting, found the valve, turned it 180° clockwise (was stiff at first), and it ran great. Just a heads up if a bonehead installs one to check this switch and also to program LPG on the digital control panel.
