The prime day prices on some tools are significantly higher than what I have paid in the last six or eight months.

Interesting data- graph shows it hit $300 for a day at end of Sept. so sale could say 33% off @ $200!

Honestly, I feel like it's deceptive marketing practices....

Not too difficult to keep gas on hand.

True. Yesterday I learned that non-ethanol gas can be stored much longer than regular gas. I'm going to go get three five-gallon gas containers and fill them up with non-eth gas and add some fuel preserver. It sounds like I can store for at least a year that way and then just dump it into my truck and refill the containers.

This is true. I keep about 40 gallons of ethanol free fuel on hand for mowers and various vehicles.
