Just realized you're a fellow Gyrene!
Hell - we even both have signatures that are quotes from Lt. Gen. Mattis.

Very bad idea. Burned chemicals, vaporized lead and loud concussive noises are no-no's. Your OB will confirm.

    I CAN HELP!
You might want to tell her that it's not recommended. The loud noises might keep the child from getting any sleep while in the womb. When it's born, he/she might be a little cranky.
Tell your wife shooting isnt recommended, but cooking is. Make up some crap like, " Taking cooking classes will make the kid happy and born with a smile on it's face". " Tell her that she needs to take out trash herself in order to start training the kid to do it as early as possible". " Recommend she clean out the garage to prepare the child for the task when it become an adult". " Start mowing the yard during pregnancy to help build the childs immunity against alergins".

Im not married, but I think Dr. Phil would agree this stuff could help.

I agree. We are on our second baby and she stopped shooting when we found out. Too much risk with the soundwaves and developing ear drums. I already ruined mine and don't want to take that risk.
